Surroundings

Katwijk has a friendly and authentic environment. It has a lovely centre at a 5 minutes walking distance with lot’s of stores, terraces, a marina and enough places to go out at night.

Centre

The shopping centre 'Zeezijde' parallel to the Boulevard offers great places to shop and every Tuesday in high-season here you can find an enormous tourist market which will entertain you and your family to the best!

Market

Every Friday 11.00 till 18.00 there’s a supplies market at the Marktplein, next to swimming pool Aquamar (Piet Heinlaan).

Activities

Nature: Enjoy the dunes surrounding Katwijk by making long bike rides on the excellent paths. Visit Noordwijk, Wassenaar (It has a nice theme park 'Duinrell') of Scheveningen by bike or even by foot and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Swimming: Katwijk has a suptropical swimming pool called Aquamar, also with sauna and sportspool. At hot temperatures there’s a very nice outside pool!

Watersports: Surfing, Kitesurfing, suppen (Stand up Paddle surfing) and canooing.

In addition you can go horseback riding, play tennis or play pool. All of this very close to your accomodation!! Availability
